Baba TV presenter Pretty Nicole has taken a swipe at several Ugandan artists, accusing them of lacking vision and focusing only on short-term fame rather than building lasting careers.

Speaking on The Bang Show, the outspoken media personality said many local musicians are obsessed with trends and viral moments instead of investing in strategies that would secure their future in the music industry.

“They barely plan for their future. They just follow whatever is trending instead of doing things that will have a lasting impact. If you have vision, you plan for the future,” Pretty Nicole remarked.

She singled out artists such as Vyroota, Cindy, and Alien Skin, claiming they have failed to make decisions that would sustain their relevance. Nicole particularly criticized Alien Skin for turning down a collaboration opportunity with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, describing it as a wasted chance to elevate his career.

“Alien Skin misused his opportunity to shine and create a lasting impact. He even rejected a collabo with Diamond Platnumz — look where he is now,” she said.

Nicole didn’t stop there. She also questioned Alien Skin’s circle of friends, suggesting that their lifestyle doesn’t match the celebrity status he once enjoyed.

“How does a star like that still move with boys who still shower with blue soap?” she quipped.

According to Pretty Nicole, Ugandan artists need to look beyond short-term fame and start making deliberate choices that ensure their influence stands the test of time.
