Gadhafi Kiwanuka, a versatile midfielder, has left English club Wombwell Town FC and has opened the door for a return to Uganda if a good deal is made.
Kiwanuka has prioritized returning to his home country despite receiving numerous offers from the lower leagues of the UK. He apparently will sign in Britain, provided that choices in Uganda have been depleted. He left for the United Kingdom nearly a decade ago, and he believes there is still work to be done in Uganda. The 27-year-old scored five goals and provided four assists in 28 Northern Counties East League One appearances while playing for Wombwell.
