Memphis Depay has signed for a new club after leaving Atletico Madrid at the end of last season, joining Brazilian side Corinthians.

Memphis Depay has penned a two-year agreement with Brazilian club Corinthians following his exit from Atletico Madrid. Depay has now committed his future to Corinthians until December 2026, despite not being included in the Netherlands' Nations League squad this month. Athletico's fifth-best total of five goals and one assist came from the Dutchman in just 23 LaLiga games played last season.

He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the team in January 2023, but he decided to leave Atletico at the end of last season. Depay then, at that point, played in each of the six of the Netherlands' Euro 2024 matches, scoring against Austria prior to getting an assist against Turkiye, and Ronald Koeman has guaranteed he won't close the doorway on the winger's global future as he did after Steven Bergwijn's transition to the Saudi Expert Association.
